FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in. Generally, form-fitting leggings and tops are best so your instructor can accurately examine your form (and so you can check it out in the mirror, too). Socks with grips on the bottom are optional.
WHAT IS BARRE?
Barre is a combination of pilates, yoga and ballet. We use smaller movements with several repetitions. Barre Unlimited will make you stronger, improves posture, burns fat, strengthens your core, increases flexibility, is low impact and sculpts long, lean muscles.
DO YOU HAVE A BEGINNER CLASS?
Barre Unlimited has a variety of Barre classes that offer modifications and options for all levels. We encourage you to start out with a BU Barre class to learn Barre basics. Please see our description of classes for a better idea of what is involved in each class.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER CLASS?
Barre is a great way to tone and sculpt muscle and will work muscles in a way that yoga or a dance class won't pinpoint. It will also help you build long, lean muscle leaving you with a physique that will become more flexible and an improved posture.
FOR MY FIRST CLASS, WHICH CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND?
Any of our classes! Each class will have modifications for those new, or that have injuries. Speak to your instructor prior to class if you have any physical restrictions we should be aware of.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
We hate to see you go! But if you must, the process is easy. You can fill out a cancellation form at the front desk requesting cancellation. Memberships can't, unfortunately, be cancelled by email or phone. please remember that your cancellation request is subject to any obligations of your membership agreement. We welcome feedback and would love the opportunity to improve and hopefully change your mind!
