Class Descriptions

NEW CLASS: BARRE STRENGTH

A 45 minute functional strength class that is low-impact & uses heavy weights to sculpt the entire body. Taught in circuits, this class focuses on movement and repetition as a way to strengthen and stabilize your entire body. This is an all-levels class that can be performed by any fitness level no matter your strength-training experience! (Offered Mondays @ 5:45pm and Friday @ 9:30am)

BU GEN EX BARRE

This barre class is a head to toe workout for anyone and is especially tailored to include modifications and challenges to meet the needs of barre babes 40 years and older!

BU PILATES FUSION

BU meets pilates with Amanda V! Amanda has been teaching pilates for 10+ years. With her exercise science degree, she brings nutrition and wellness to each one of her classes. In our pilates fusion class you will expect to feel long, lean and strong immediately after! This low impact, but medium intensity class will incorporate our BU BARRE with a pilates fused focus.

BU BARRE

BU BARRE is our signature total body workout and a mixed level class where all levels are welcome. It’s a 50 minute, fast-paced, body conditioning and strength training workout that will leave you craving for more! New clients of course welcome! Get ready to get your BU sweat on! (Mats and equipment provided). For best results, take at least 3x/week!

BU AMPED BARRE

BU AMPED BARRE is a sweaty, cleansing full-body workout. This 50-minute fun and challenging class combines BU BARRE with fast-paced cardio bursts and endurance exercises. With detailed cues and creative variations, this high-intensity workout will leave you feeling “good sore” all over.

BU HIIT BARRE

Get ready to push yourself to your physical, mental and emotional limits on this 50-minute, three-dimensional ride. Built on the principles of High Intensity Interval Training, this class focuses on rounds of cardio intervals with active, strength-based recovery sections interspersed throughout. Sink into the beat of the music and prepare yourself for an energizing journey through plyometrics, speed work, agility training and coordination development.
